Born in Heidelberg, Clemens Bötel studied violin, music theory and orchestral conducting in Frankfurt am Main. His theater experience includes the Musical Theater Heidelberg, the Oper Frankfurt, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, and the Theater der Stadt Heidelberg. He has also worked with the Deutsche Filmorchester Babelsberg, the Polska Filharmonia Kameralna and the IEMA Frankfurt among others. He currently lives in Berlin.
