Fabio Felippi and Thomas Wyssen studied together at the University of Applied Sciences in Basel. After working at Herzog & de Meuron Architects, they founded their own architectural firm, Felippi Wyssen Architects, in 2009.
The work of Felippi Wyssen extends from urban development, to architecture, to artistic creations. Given the different assignments, their projects reflect variety accordingly. For their work, they look for new ideas, which they skillfully apply to functional, creative and social requirements. Their iterative way of working results in innovative and trendsetting projects. Depending on the assignment, Felippi Wyssen work together in interdisciplinary teams.
From 2010 to 2012, the architects worked as teaching assistants at the ETH Zurich. The interface between practice and university created the potential for interesting encounters and promoted the mutual exchange of knowledge and zeitgeist.
